It is game time!
I mean, basketball season is here, but it is also time for November’s food challenge! Ready? Drum roll please!
We are doing the 15 day water detox! Clap now!
Okay, okay, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Starting on November 2nd, we are doing the 15- day- water- detox. I am choosing this detox, because October was a crazy month. I am sad to say October threw me off my diet plans! I don’t know where you all live, but I live in North Carolina. This month, we had two hurricanes, thirsty mosquitoes, and the most annoying humidity ever.
It was hard to stay on track, but this month, I am focus. I need to flush the October toxins out of my body. This water detox is going to do the trick. I am 1,000 percent sure this detox will have me feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and clean!
What you need
This detox is simple all you need is a container, fresh water, fresh fruit, and fresh herbs! That is is it! Anyone can participate in this challenge. You don’t have to eat clean, although eating clean will help, just drink the water and see how much your body will shine. First thing first, take a trip to the store:
Next, you need to decide what recipes you want do! Detox water is pretty self-explanatory and it is hard to mess up. Add different flavor combinations to see what you come up with! If you are struggling with coming up with recipes, check out this website for help. Below is some combinations that I have came up with that were quite tasty:
Tips for Progress
Lastly, here are some words of encouragement before you begin the detox. Remember, this is a challenge. You may not finish the challenge or you may skip a day or even give up after the first day. I don’t care about that stuff. I only care that you tried.
Listen, after week 4 of the body transformation challenge, I was sick of drinking smoothies! I didn’t finish. I am not ashamed to tell you that challenge kicked my ass! But guest what? I was happy that I accomplished something I never thought I could do.
I made progress! That is why we are doing this! Listen, some challenges will kick your ass, but remember there will be another challenge the next month. Here are some tips to get you through these 15 days:
I have one last surprise for you. We aren’t just doing food this time we are also pairing this challenge up with an exercise challenge. Yes, that is right! We are throwing exercise in the mix. 🙂
I always preach being active but this time I mean it! These 15 days I want you to commit to exercising 30 minutes a day or 210 minutes a week. You guys, when you combine detox/diet with exercise you cannot loose.
Get your butt off the couch and get moving with your detox water!
